Caution All human source materials have tested negative for HIV, HBC HCV antibodies, HIV Ag and HbsAg. No test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. Therefore, all material derived from human fluids or tissues should be considered as potentially infectious.
Storage Store lyophilized at 2-8°C for 6 months or at -20°C long term.
After reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month 
or (in aliquots) at -20°C long term.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.

Purification:
The human plasma is delipidized and defibrinated, then the immunoglobulin fraction is precipitated and collected.
Buffer System:
0.01 M phosphate, 0.13 M NaCl. pH 7.2 with 0.02% Sodium Azide as preservative

Reconstitution:
Restore with 2 ml deionized water.
Specificity
Specificity:
Shows only the SSA precipitate band when tested using double immunodiffusion against bovine spleen extract. Specificity is verified by identity of precipitation with CDC-AF reference serum.
Titer will vary with test system; however, undiluted antibody shows a strong SSA precipitate band.
Product shows no reactivity at a dilution of 1/100 when tested against purified SSB-2 EU/ml, Scl-2 EU/ml, Sm -2 EU/ml, Sm/RNP-4EU/ml, and Jo-1-4 EU/ml. antigens in an ELISA system designed to detect all IgG subclasses.
