Application Suitable for ELISA and Immunodiffusion.
Caution All human source materials have tested negative for HIV1, HIV2, HBc, HCV and HBsAg antibodies. No test guarantees a product to be non-infectious. Therefore, all material derived from human fluids or tissues should be considered as potentially infectious.
Storage Store lyophilized at 2-8°C for 6 months or at -20°C long term.
After reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month 
or (in aliquots) at -20°C long term.
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Shelf life: one year from despatch.

Precipitation and collection of IgG fraction from delipidized and defibrinated single donor Human plasma.
Buffer System:
0.01M Phosphate, 0.13M NaCl, pH 7.2 with 0.02% Sodium Azide as preservative.

Reconstitution:
Restore with 2 ml deionized water.
Specificity
Specificity:
Shows only the La/SSB precipitate band when tested using double immunodiffusion against rabbit thymus extract.
Specificity is verified by identity of precipitation with CDC-AF reference serum.
The titer obtained will vary with the test system; however, undiluted antibody shows a strong La/SSB precipitate band.
Product shows no reactivity at a dilution of 1/100 when tested against purified Scl-70, Sm, Sm/RNP, and Jo-1 antigens in an ELISA system designed to detect all IgG classes. Anti-SSA activity is detected in this ELISA system.
