| Application | Suitable for ELISA and Lateral Flow Assays. This antibody can be used with AM00862PU-N in Sandwich Immunoassay. |
| Background | Canine heartworm (Dirofilaria immitus) is transmitted by mosquitoes. Adult nematodes reach 10 to 12 inches in length and live in the peripheral branches of the pulmonary arteries, producing large numbers of microscopic offspring (microfilaria) which circulate throughout the bloodstream. Heartworm disease is caused by the body's immunologic reaction to the presence of the adults and offspring, damaging the vasculature system of the lungs. |
| Concentration | 7.5 mg/ml (OD280nm) |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
