| Application | Western Blot: 1/500-1/1000. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections: we recommend methanol fixation for this purpose. Recommended Positive Control: Adrenal gland. Immunoprecipitation: Pre-treatment with 0.1% w/v SDS and 1% v/v TritonX 100 required. |
| Background | This enzyme functions to remove residual C-terminal arginine or lysine residues remaining after initial endoprotease cleavage during prohormone processing. It may be found in secretory granules of the pancreatic islets, adrenal gland and pituitary gland. |
| Storage | Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
