| Background | Staphylococcus aureus are gram-positive bacteria that, although part of the normal flora of humans (nasal passages, skin and mucous membranes), have the potential to become opportunistic pathogens. S. aureus is a frequent cause of a wide range of infections and some bacterial strains have become resistant to many commonly used antibiotics. |

| Storage | Prior to reconstitution store at 2-8°C. Following reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. If aliquoted for long term storage, fill volume should be equal to or greater than 50% of the nominal fill volume of the vial used. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch. |
