Background of ZBTB38 antibody
ZBTB38 physically associates with CtBP via a conserved CtBP binding motif, PLDLR. When heterologously targeted to DNA, it represses transcription via two independent repression domains, an N-terminal BTB domain and a PLDLR motif-containing RD2 region, in a histone deacetylase-independent and -dependent manner, respectively

Western blot analysis of extract from Myc-CIBZ protein ( lane 1 ) , mouse brain tissue ( lane 2 ) and mouse kidney tissue ( lane 3 ) , using Zbtb38 polyclonal antibody ( Cat # PAB8496 ) .
Nuclear extracts of HeLa cells ( 40 µg ) were analysed by Western blot using ZBTB38 polyclonal antibody ( Cat # PAB14088 ) diluted 1 : 1,000 in TBS-Tween containing 5% skimmed milk.
ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of ZBTB38 polyclonal antibody ( Cat # PAB14088 ).The plates were coated with the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit.By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution, the titer of the crude serum was estimated to be 1 : 26,000.

Determination of the titer To determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the antibody against human ZBTB38. The plates were coated with the peptides used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution (Figure 1), the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:26,000.
